Mount Dora Part II

I always take the side entrance to this lovely town, off of 441 south and pass this church, driving pass towns like Zellwood (famous for corn) and Tangerine (some of the few Orange groves left in Central Florida)

it indicates that it is a Black congregation of Mount Zion est.1856, I've peaked inside and it is just a humble wooden church with no more than 10 pews inside.

Old southern mansions, next to ginger bread homes

Quiet weekdays, busy weekends especially downtown

little alley ways to explore, shady trees to keep you cool, walk by Lake Dora

Reminders, of the Conch Republic flags (AKA KeyWest) 

Freethinkers

Those who have demonstrated in the past the policy of acceptance of others

Pirates, Salvagers & Beachcombers

Anyone who feeds the poor with Happy Meals & Whoppers

Those extremely cynical of government as a whole

Individuals who are capable of solving problems simply

Past or present Hippies, Beatniks and Hobos

WIndow Shop, relax, sit a spell, take in several gourmet stores, park your "bike" even take a boat tour through the cannals which I really recommend.
